Milena Rae (Cuyler) Lobb
Milena Lobb passed away peacefully in her 88th year at Wingham & District Hospital on April 4, 2021. Loving wife of the late William Frederick Lobb. Loving mother to Susan Ryan (Mickey), late son Gerry Lobb (Suellen), Brian Lobb (Lana), and Valerie MacTavish (Jeff). Loving grandmother to Shane Lobb (Suzanne), Will Lobb (Alicia), Andrew Lobb (Renee), Robyn Lobb, Shannon MacTavish (Martin), Erin MacTavish (Carl), Lauren MacTavish (Andrew), and Jordan Lobb. Loving great grandmother to Avery, Myla and Liam Lobb. Loving sister of Jean Dobison (George), Joyce Duke (late Harold), Bill Cuyler (Pauline), and David Cuyler (Joyce). Beloved by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents Jack & Kathleen (Ferrier) Cuyler, and her brothers Clifton and Robert. Milena, also known as Millie, was raised on a farm in Kinloss Twp. She moved to Clinton to attend business school. She met Bill Lobb on a stormy night, they married in 1952 and started a family on the Lobb farm. She was dedicated to her family, friends and the community of Maitland and the 16th concession. Millie was a homemaker and had her own flower/craft shop. She was a curler and often golfed with Bill. Millie was an avid gardener just like her mother Kathleen. Millie was a writer of poems. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Be good! Take Care! Love you.
At Millie’s request cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her life will take place at a later date when gathering together can be done safely. She and Bill will be laid to rest in the columbarium at Clinton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider the tree planting program or a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
