At Brampton Civic Hospital on Sunday January 29, 2017. Mrs. Grietje "Grace" Frouktje Datema of Brampton and formerly of Auburn in her 88th year, after a brief battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Writzer "Fritz" Datema for 63 years. Loving mother of Margerita & Carl Mount of Queensville, Mathilda Tisseur of Cambridge, Ralph & Pat Datema of Clinton, Anita Wilson of Sardis, BC, and Frank & Boni Datema of Aldergrove, BC. Cherished by 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Jan & Ina de Vries of Chatham, Truus & Hilko Rozema of The Nehterlands, and Cees & Ity de Vries of The Netherlands. Predeceased by her brother Ekke de Vries. A Memorial Service will be held at the Holland Christian Homes, Brampton, in the Heritage Hall on Wednesday February 1, 2017 at 2 pm. A Graveside Service will be held at Ball's Cemetery, Auburn, in the spring. Memorial donations to The Lighthouse, Toronto or World Renew would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
