Obituary of Wonnetta Holland

Holland, Margaret Wonnetta - June 6, 1924 to February 19, 2017 Wonnetta passed away on Sunday, February 19 at Craigwiel Gardens in Ailsa Craig in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her loving husband William "Bill" of 66 years, and her brothers John and Cliff Henderson. Wonnetta also sadly lost her son Keith (1978) and grandson Fraser McMahon (2015). Dear mother of Harvey and Cindy Holland, Marilyn McMahon and Michael Powell and Cliff and Betty Holland, grandmother of Bill Cameron, Jill McMahon and Krista, Wade, Keith, Vince, Murray and Clayton Holland. She also leaves 9 great grandchildren. Wonnetta was a dedicated member of the Clinton Legion for 50+ years and a hard working farm wife. Bill and her loved to dance and make music wherever they went. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch no.140 Clinton or the charity of one's choice would be appreciated. Cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life at the Falconer Funeral Homes – Clinton Chapel, 153 High St. on Monday, February 27. Visitation will be held from 12:00 till 2:00 with the funeral service at 2:00 followed by a reception at Clinton United Church.
