It wasn't hard to become a Friend of Paul the moment you met him the first time. His sense of humour & the laugh that followed was enough to engulf those around him. His serious side when it came to his work ( and he wore so many hats with pride in each ) would also engulf any person as he commanded your attention, and you readily gave him the respect that he had always earned !! He became my Friend and hopefully I was lucky enough to have become one of his...as it was an Honour to be on such a list !! Paul, I missed teasing you at Mutual Aid meetings or on the street when we met up unexpectedly, and miss you more for the banter you would often win at when getting reprisal on me.....I will truly miss you Paul !!
Good men are hard to find these days; Great men seem to be taken from us too soon. If there is ever any emergency in Heaven, God is in very good hands with you & Steve Cook both on the job.
Our Heart felt thoughts and love go to all the Family.
Andy & Linda Smart.

So sorry to hear of Paul's passing. Fond memories of him at the Grandview having coffee or ordering his favourite "a cheeseburger with just onion".
