VALKENBURG: ALBERT Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus, London, on Friday March 17, 2017 Mr. Albert Valkenburg of London and formerly of Clinton in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Jantje (Greidanus) Valkenburg for 65 years. Loving father of Nellie & John Hoogendoorn of Clinton, Wynne & John Mosterd of Stratford, Peter & Geraldine Valkenburg of Markham, Alice & Gerald Mosterd of Bowmanville, Dorothy & Jerry Kassies of London, John & Wilma Valkenburg of Richmond Hill, Cristina & John Arends of London, and Henry & Tina Valkenburg of Port Perry. Also loved and missed by 32 grandchildren, and 48 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Pieter & Rei Valkenburg of BC, Janny & Jaap Beumer of the Netherlands, Riek & Bert Greidanus of Clinton, and Henk Valkenburg of London. Also missed by several in laws. Predeceased by sisters Nelly Valkenburg & Trudy Dyk. Albert worked at the Clinton Public Utilities Commission for 40 years until he retired. He was a member of the Clinton Christian Reformed Church in Clinton until moving to London and he joined the Frist Christian Reformed Church on Talbot Street. Friends and family are invited to visitation at the Clinton Christian Reformed Church, 243 Princess St. E., Clinton on Sunday March 19, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 716 Classic Dr., London, on Monday March 20, 2017 at 2 p.m. Spring Interment Clinton Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to World Renew, Huron Christian School, or the Charity of One's Choice would be appreciated.
