Doherty: Elizabeth "Betty" Peacefully at Huronview Home, Clinton on Thursday April 27, 2017. Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Doherty of Clinton in her 80th year. Beloved wife for 55 years to Seamus "James" Doherty. Loving Mother of Una & Jeff Roy of Clinton, Liam & Wendy Doherty of Surrey B.C., Davitt O'Doherty & Nancy Wojcik of St. Mary's. Devoted Grandma of Caitlyn Armstrong, Ryan Armstrong, Brianne Doherty, Dylan Doherty, Austin Doherty, Declan & Cainan O'Doherty. Dear sister of Simon & Collette O'Connell of Chicago. Also remembered by her sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her infant children Elizabeth, Michael and Joseph, parents Dennis & Nell O'Connell and by sisters Elieen, Kathleen and brother Dennis. Friends and family will be received at the Falconer Funeral Home - Clinton Chapel, 153 High St. Clinton on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of the Catholic Burial will be held at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, 156 North Street Goderich on Tuesday May 2nd, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment Clinton Cemetery Clinton. Parish Prayers will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday at 6:45 p.m. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation, Brain Injury Canada or The Alzhiemers Society would be appreciated.
