Obituary of Ross Jewitt

After bravely facing cancer for 6 years, Stewart "Ross" Jewitt of Clinton, peacefully passed into the next phase of his life journey, surrounded by much love on Wednesday April 26, 2017 at Clinton Public Hospital in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Bonnie (Snell) Jewitt. Loving father of Scott & Korren of DePere, Wisconsin and Lori & Scott Stevens of Clinton. Cherished grandpa of Malin and Macklin Jewitt and Mckenzie and Abby Stevens. Dear brother of Joyce & Bill Dowson of Varna, Barb & John Jewitt of RR#1 Clinton, Dennis Jewitt & Phylis Biggin of Wingham, Janice Preszcator of Varna, Don & Pat Jewitt of Alma Corners, Ken Jewitt & Mary Willert of Mitchell, Larry Jewitt & Jessie Young of Clinton, Steve & Rose Jewitt of Milton. Brother-in-law of Barb & Al Bosman of Londesborough, Rob & Brenda Ann Snell of Exeter, Bette & Bev Jewitt of Midhurst, Faye & Randy Hughes of Kincardine. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Ella & Bill Jewitt, in-laws Jack & Marion Snell, brother Kevin Jewitt and brothers-in-law Jim Preszcator and Rick Snell. At Ross' request cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at the Clinton Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to a come and go Celebration of Life at the Holmesville Community Hall on Saturday May 6, 2017 from 1-4 p.m. with speeches beginning at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the London Regional Cancer Centre or a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
