Dave and I joined Chinguacousy Township Police at the same time, he as a seasoned police veteran and I as a raw rookie. Despite our age and experience differences he always treated me as an equal and provided solid guidance when needed, which was often. Dave provided good leadership which he delivered with a smile. I have fond memories of Dave. My sincere condolence to you, Gail, and your family.

My sincere condolences to your family on the loss of Dave. I did not have the opportunity to work with Dave as he had left Peel Regional Police before I started my career. I did have the opportunity to meet Dave last year as he assisted me with some research I was doing into the history of the Chinguacousy Police Department and the badges used by the Department. Dave was most gracious allowing me to photograph his Chingacousy badges. I appreciated his assistance and enjoyed talking with him about his experiences in Peel and life after he left Policing.

Dear Gail and Family
We were shocked to hear of the sudden passing of Dave. He was a true gentleman and will be missed terribly. We are remembering the days before we moved to Calgary and how willing Dave was to take Bayley for walks when we had to travel to London.
