Obituary of Debbie Lyn Burdge

Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family and friends following an amazing mother's day; on Tuesday May 16, 2017 Deborah Lyn (Lockie) Burdge of Brucefield in her 62nd year. Wife and best friend for 42 years of Richard "Rick" Burdge. Loving mother of Alan (Tammy) of Hensall and Andrew of Brucefield. Special Nana to Cassie, Carter, Alexis, Adalyn, Madison, Hannah and Riley. Loving sister of Natalie (John), Cathy (Rob), Connie (Pat), Colleen (Barry) and Nancy. Dear sister in law of Sherran Burdge of Owen Sound and Darlene (Dennis) Hallam of Brucefield. Also survived by many special nieces and nephews. Dear friend to Amy Leppington and Angela Burdge. Predeceased by her parents Alan George & Alice Lockie and parents in law Bill & Helan Burdge. At Debbie's request cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life at the Brucefield Community United Church on Saturday May 20, 2017 from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. Interment of ashes at Baird's Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Brucefield Community United Church or Jessica's House would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
