Obituary of Madelon Ruth Yeats

In the early morning hours of Friday July 21, 2017 Madelon Ruth (Mason) Yeats left the world she so loved, in Huronview, a place that was very dear to her heart. Generosity and thoughtfulness travelled the world with Madelon as she lived by the Golden Rule. Madelon relished life and lived it to the fullest for her ninety-five years. She was predeceased by the love of her life, George in 2007. She leaves behind a daughter Gwen Johnston (Ken), a son Graham (Rosanne) and was predeceased by her son Ian in Egypt in 1949. Other immediate family members touched by this loss include her grandchildren Julie Eckert (Bryan Watson), Lauralee (Cameron) Veitch, Vanessa Yeats, Brendan Yeats and great grandchildren Megan Eckert and Logan Eckert. Many cousins, nieces and nephews mourn the loss. Madelon was predeceased by her parents Tom and Ella Mason of Summerhill, her brother Ray (Dorothy) Mason and her sister Marion (Ralph) Totten. Friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Homes – Clinton Chapel, 153 High St., Clinton on Monday July 24, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., and on Tuesday July 25 for the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #140 memorial service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday evening at 8:30p.m. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #140, Huronview Home, or Clinton Public Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
