Obituary of Ralph Brodie

BRODIE: Ralph It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Ralph Brodie at Maitland Manor in Goderich on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the age of 98. Born June 9, 1919 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Predeceased by wives Viola Young (1976), June Evans (2016) and son Thomas Brodie (1994). Survived by daughter Patricia (Lonnie) Fairbairn. Cherished grandpa to Tobi Kellestine, Rachel Swanson, Jessica Menarey and Samara Fairbairn. Proud great grandpa to Gianna, Baily, Tristan and Brodie. Great great grandpa to Joesph. Ralph loved his family and cared well for them. Ralph was a farmer. He came to his farm on Hawkins Road in 1930. He farmed there until he passed away. Ralph was a lover of all animals. He especially enjoyed training horses and always had a loyal dog. Most of all he loved his God Jehovah and he loved to study the Bible and learn about Bible prophecies and their fulfillment to strengthen his faith in his future hope of eternal life on earth. A memorial service will be held at The Kingdom Hall, 172 Anglesea Street in Goderich on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service time.
