To all of Johns family - we are sending you our heartfelt condolences for a man who will truly be missed by all!
John was such a pleasure to know as a friend down at the 'dock' and we have such fond memories of many years spent with him there. His wisdom , kindness, keen sense of humour and fun spirit made our time there all the more enjoyable. John was a true gentleman and may he rest in peace and.... may there be singing in heaven because John brings such a great voice.

John was a hero to me while I was in high school, for he was part of the school band ( small group) which we so admired from our humble grade 9 class. Fast forward to 2002 John graciously gave some of my family and I a tour of his home in Bayfield, still the hero as I remembered ! My sincere condolences to the family. Bayfield will miss him dearly!

I am very sorry to hear about your father's passing. John has always been a sweet, kind man in the three years that I have known him. It was great to see him every morning for coffee. We will miss him terribly. Our thoughts go out to all of John's family at this time.
