Obituary of Tina Marie Mahon
"Heaven has gained another angel"
A beautiful heart has stopped beating. Tina fought a valiant fight against all odds and finally lost her battle on Sunday October 15, 2017. Tina (Strong) Mahon, age 52, died peacefully surrounded by all her loved ones at Clinton Public Hospital. She was the much loved wife of her wonderful caregiver husband Michael Mahon. Devoted mother of Zachary Mahon, Alysha (Ryan) Ysebaert, Kristy Mahon (Scott Liebold), Stephanie (Jessie) Beerda and Michayla (Jason) McLeod. Loving Nana of Alexis, Nathan, Hailey, Emma, James, Landon, Chloe, Samantha and Myra. Treasured daughter of Peggy Strong and her "other mother" Sheena (Jim) Gage. Cherished by her only sister Kara Carter and her husband Ian and special Aunt to Jaden, Devon, Colton and Ally Carter. Remembered fondly and with love by her grandmother Josephine Wickie. Sadly missed by her mother-in-law Jean (Gord) Pickett, brother-in-law Steven (Heather) Mahon, sisters-in-law Kathy (Mike) Froggatt and family and Debbie (Mark) Clement and family. She will be greatly missed by her best friends Liz and Angie. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father James Strong (1999), grandfather George Wickie (1983) and father-in-law Joseph Mahon (2009). We would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Peter Salsbury who has always gone the extra mile and gave such compassionate care to Tina, Mike and family. To the Clinton Public Hospital staff – thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your exemplary care. Funeral Service will be held at the Falconer Funeral Homes, Clinton Chapel, 153 High St. Clinton on Wednesday October 18, 2017 with visitation one hour before. Barb Hicks officiating. As per Tina's wishes, interment at Clinton Cemetery will be private. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
