Audrey Elaine (Gill) McKinley passed away peacefully at Alexandra Marine & General Hospital, Goderich on Saturday December 19, 2017 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of Bob McKinley for 67 years. Loving mother of 5 children, Diane McKinley, John McKinley (Shelagh), Deborah McKinley (Cam), Janet Joy (Peter), and Brenda McKinley. Cherished by 6 grandchildren, Jennifer (Graham), Kris, Mallory (Brad), Tyler, Carleen and Mark, and 2 great grandchildren, James and Connor. Dear sister of Alma Westlake (Robert). Predeceased by parents Don & Ruth Hendrick, brother Richard, and birth father Cecil Gill. Audrey made a fabulous 4-H Club leader. She also enjoyed lawn bowling both in Florida and at home, and was manager of the kitchen at the Clinton Club. She also shared ownership of several race horses and travelled to all the tracks in Ontario to watch her horses race. She was a past matron of the Exeter Eastern Star, recently receiving her 50 year pin. Audrey managed the 5 winning elections that Bob ran as a Member of Parliament. She had an active sewing room where you could find her many days busy as a bee. She also enjoyed her association with the bridge club in Clinton. She never lost touch with her Zurich girls club and they still met regularly. She also enjoyed her work with the church both in Goshen and Brucefield Community United Church. Visitation will be at the Falconer Funeral Homes, Clinton Chapel, 153 High St. Clinton on Thursday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be at the Brucefield Community United Church, 10 London Rd. Brucefield on Friday December 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to service time. Rev. Randy Banks officiating. Cremation to follow.
