Very sorry for the loss of a great man. His time at the gun shop was cherished and appreciated by so many. It was more than just a place to purchase or service a gun. Many went there just for the conversation and outdoor enthusiast comradery. It was always a great place to stop by and Jim was the man that made it what it was. What a truly great man he was.
He will be forever missed

Mark and Matt and family the lost of Jim is difficult for all of us. Jim and I go away back to 1963 when we met at Ranger school where we shared the same room for 11 weeks both being into firearms and hunting we shared a life long passion for both. I was truly an honour to be his best man at their wedding. I was fortune enough to have a long chat with him several weeks ago to share some of the good times in the field with dogs friends and shotguns. He will be missed by many.

Matt and Mark,
Over the last 20 plus years I had many business dealing with your dad. From joining the house to the old shop to renovations to the house. Jim was one of the fairest people I ever did business with. I also got to know many other like minded shooters from visiting at his shop. I never ever heard anyone say a bad word about your dad. From the first time he invited me hunt out west to last time we spoke which was just after the deer season he was always the same Jim to me. RIP old friend. Chuck Krieger..l

Dear Matt and Mark,
Jim was a great and very kind, wise and understanding gentleman. I have many great memories as a young man hanging out in his shop. He stopped and spoke with me this past deer season as I was on the road heading to my stand...a special moment for me.
My thoughts are with you.
