At Maitland Manor in Goderich on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. Shirley Irene Middel (nee Hoy) of Goderich in her 79th year. Wife of the late Albert Middel (1979). Dear mother and mother in law of Carrie and Claude Daw of Auburn and Martin and Georgena Middel of Goderich Township. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Joel Middel (Kristin), Jaleena Goldsworthy (Mike), Jasmine Daw, Jamison Daw, Danielle Middel (Steve), Brian Wilson (Danielle) and her great grandchildren Ava Middel, Greyson Wilson and Preston Middel. Sister of Bev Webb (Paul). Also survived by many brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Elizabeth (Johnston) Hoy, sister Ruth Robertson (Hoy) and daughter Jannette Gibbs (Middel). Cremation has taken place. Spring interment of ashes at Maitland Cemetery, Goderich on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #109 - Goderich.
