Joe and I were members of the first tri-service cadets at Royal Roads. My sympathy to the family. I will make a donation to the Christopher McKee Award at Dalhousie University in his memory. This award named in memory of our son who died of a brain tumour has assisted 25 commerce students over the last 20 years. My grandparents, Sparks came from the Goderich/Bayfield area.

Dear Aunt Marg and all the Family,
Our deepest sympathies to you all.
My memories of Uncle Joe were connected to his presence.
He was always interested in his nieces and nephews and how they were doing in their lives. I know that he was much loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
My best memory was on our wedding day .Uncle Joe was the MC at the wedding reception under the white top in our backyard. That was an honour for us.
He was a gentle, loving giant.

We were so honoured to have UncleJoe as the MC at our wedding July 14,1979.
And Joe was always interested in his nieces and nephews and how they were doing in life.
Joe was special to us and our sympathies to Aunt Marg and the whole family.
