Dear Mrs. Bridge, Aynsley, Jeff and Paul,
My Mom heard about Bruce's passing, and I found his obituary by searching online. I'm so sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of our years in Charnwood...times spent with you, Aynsley, and the rest of your family when we first moved there in 1972. When I think of your little brother Bruce I see his smiling face. It is so easy to lose touch in this big world, but perhaps our paths will cross some day. I am thinking of you all, with love, Jen

I cannot tell you how shocked and saddened I was to discover that my friend Bruce passed away. I knew Bruce for 40 years, since high school in Grade 9. When I think of Bruce I remember his laugh, it always lit up a whole room. I will most remember his kindness and generousity. I can say that Bruce had one of the most gentle hearts I have ever encountered.
My most profound sympathies to Mrs. Bridge, Aynsley, Jeff and Paul.

My sincere condolences to the whole family. I was best friends with Bruce his first year at Carleton University and we spent a lot of time together making memories that have stayed with me even though we had grown apart after his accident, he remains in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless

I am very sad that Bruce has passed away. He was very good friends with my late wife Norma STEWART for many years. They also worked together at Customs and Excise in Oakville. We were pleased that Bruce was in our wedding party. What a great day it was; enhanced even more by Bruce’s contagious humour and happy disposition. He had a way of really livening things up whenever he was around. I will always remember him fondly and I believe that he and Norma had a joyous reunion and are sharing a drink and a lot of laughs in heaven.
To the Bridge family, I am truly sorry for your loss. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers during this sad time.
Sincere and heartfelt condolences,
Rick Palmen

My dear friend I love you so much. Hoping your pain is now over..
Remembering all the great times we had together. Creating St Patrick Day celebrations for Bevin and Dianna, AbFab, you forcing me to watch Laurel and Hardy, 84 Charrington Cross, using the lettuce spinner, Montreal, Varbots wedding, your proposal to me so I wouldn't move to England, the 3D Empire State Building you knocked over, teaching me to make Pasta Carbonara, the general silliness and creating general havoc where ever we went..
I miss you so much
Jo

Am very sorry to hear of Bruce’s passing. We had the pleasure of meeting Bruce, when he was the ‘Best man’ for our younger sister’s (Norma-Jean Stewart’s) wedding. I know they shared a long and special friendship. Bruce sent our Mother a very heartfelt card when Norma passed away 5 years ago. Am certain they will rekindle their friendship when they meet up again. May they both RIP. Once again, sorry for your loss.

Hello Lenore,
I received a wonderful email from Bruce a few years ago. He told me how much he'd admired Matthew. I was so pleased to read those wonderful words.
Ed and I are so sad to hear of Bruce's passing. We have many fond memories of our years as neighbours and hope that you and the rest of the family are well.
