Lynn was so special to me and my family. Not only did I work with Lynn, she held a special place in my heart for all she did for my kids outside of work. When Deidre was babysitting, she would drive them all to her place so they didn't have to walk, she would watch them and play with them if Deidre had to go early. She would bring my kids to the hospital at the end of my day so I could take them to their piano lessons. My kids loved and looked forward to Wednesday... They loved and looked forward to Lynn and Deidre.
Lynn, I already miss your smile, your quick-wittedness, your kindness, your selflessness, your jokes, your eye-rolls, and your friendship. Thank you, Lynn, for everything....

Mike, Deidre, Barbara and families: I am deeply moved and profoundly saddened at your great loss of a wife, mother and daughter, but also as my friend. Lynn was our "keeper of the records" at the hospital as you well know. When I stumbled upon this police hat gesture, I felt it was so appropriate! Often dropping by to remind us not to be using blue ink on charts - 'only black' - and to not be using tape to secure monitor strips in charts, but rather "use glue sticks so they scan better". Lynn truly was like an officer... the warden... the record keeper... (in addition to her self-proclaimed title CEO of the West Wing) but never was it said punitively, never dismissively, but rather with her best intentions and always with kindness. Lynn was a warm soul who greeted all with a positive upbeat personality and friendly smile be it at work or downtown while out walking and I'll never ever forget her and thank Lynn for that!
People come and people go. Everyone that has been in your life has been there for some reason...

The world lost an Angel yesterday...... I always remember Lynn laughing and smiling and making everyone around her smile too.
One funny memory I have is "back in the day" when it seemed like a really good idea to get your friends to do your hair.
For those that know me, my hair is curly and frizzy at the best of times. You know where this is going, right?
We decided that it would be good for Lynn and Steph to give me a perm.
Since it was sometimes difficult to get home perms to take, we decided to leave the permanent solution on good and long, to make sure it took. It took, alright. I think that perm lasted for about 3 years.
I remember laughing and laughing with Lynn and Steph, on the promise/hope that my hair "would relax" in a day or so. I honestly didn't think that the curlers would come out (and probably Lynn was worried too, only I couldn't see her face while she tried).
My memory of her will be that funny little laugh she had.....
