Obituary of Florence Teresa Symons

SYMONS: FLORENCE TERESA (AIKEN)

Peacefully at Huronview Home, Clinton, on Saturday March 10, 2018 Mrs. Florence Teresa (Aiken) Symons of Clinton in her 96th year.  Beloved wife of the late Donald Symons (2009).  Loving mother of Barbara Moore o Haliburton, Lorrie Symons of Waterloo, and Jane Symons of Minden.  Cherished grandmother of Kate & Brent Irvine of Bolton, and Julie Moore of Toronto.  Proud great grandma of Owen & Eli Irvine.  Fondly remembered by 2 sisters in law and nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by brothers Willard & Maxine Aiken, and Arthur & Helen Aiken.  Florence was a charter member of the Clinton Chapter of The Order of the Eastern Star, and a member for 71 years of the United Church Choir.  Friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Homes, 153 High St., Clinton, on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  The Funeral Service will be held at the Clinton United Church, 105 Ontario St., Clinton, on Wednesday March 14, 2018 at 11 a.m.  Spring Interment Clinton Cemetery.  Members of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #222 will hold a service at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 6:45 p.m.  As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation, Huronview Activation Fund, or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.  Messages of Condolence for the Symons family may be placed at www.falconerfuneralhomes.com
