Obituary of William Richard Alcock

At Alexandra Marine & General Hospital, Goderich on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 William "Bill" Richard Alcock of Goderich in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Helene (Mahood) Alcock (2010). Loving father of Rick & Sherry Alcock of Goderich, Kathy Alcock & Jimbo Sinnett of Goderich, Paul Alcock of Exeter and Mike & Christy Alcock of Goderich. Cherished grandfather of Steven and Bradley Alcock, Ryan (Avary) and Robyn Adams, James and Emma Alcock, Elizabeth and Michaela Alcock and great grandfather of Jakob. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Betty Daer of Clinton, Cora Alcock of Brussels, Murray & Barbara Alcock of Goderich and Carol Alcock of Goderich. Predeceased by his parents Jack & Isabell Alcock, brothers Kenneth and Ross, brother-in-law Joseph Daer and two half-brothers Tom and Frank. At Bill's request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Falconer Funeral Homes, Bluewater Chapel, 201 Suncoast Dr. E. Goderich on Sunday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Memorial Service will be held at St. George's Anglican Church, 87 North St. Goderich on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Goderich branch no. 109. Inurnment of cremated remains at Maitland Cemetery in the spring. Memorial donations to Cystic Fibrosis Canada or a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
