So sorry for your loss of Mr. Bikus. In the early 80's I worked for Ross Kettlewell the Esso Agent, delivering gas, diesel and curing oil to the farm. Bill was one of the nicest people I have ever met. Always friendly, .... specially those hot days in July and August when the friendly greeting was followed by "wanta Beer?". To a guy like myself, in his early 20's - that made my day - even if it was 10:00 in the morning. :)

Dear Leean and Family
So sorry to hear about your Dads passing.
I have many memories of the old days in Rodney of going to the farm, playing as a kid, trekking through the bush and barns looking at your Dad's collection of junk he collected when he was the local scrap dealer.
The tobacco connection went way deeper than most people realize of building friendships in the community. So much has changed back home over the years.
Your brother Jeff and I had some fun times in Guelph and I think of him periodically when I see news clips of Zimbabwe in paper or news.
Not sure if you knew or not, but when your Mom and Dad moved to Bayfield. They made the drive to the annual Hensall yard sale the last Saturday of May for many years. Your Mom and Dad always made a point to stop on the main street where I live to have a visit. Even when her health was getting worse, she always wanted to talk and visit. She always said the cars can wait or go around.

Dear Leean and family,
It has been a pleasure getting to know your Dad over the past year and half. We were able to have a couple family dinners with him, he always brought laughter, fun and joy to our table.
He even showed our son Curtis how to play crib, to the point Curtis even beat him a few times lol.
Bill was so kind and sweet when it came to Dorothy. Words cannot express how grateful we are Bill came into her life and ours.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family. We will surely miss the presence of Bill a truly loveable and kind person.

Bill was a great caring guy. I sure enjoyed spending precious time with him these past 16 months.
He brought happiness back into my life when I needed it the most. I am sure Leean, Bryon,
Rachel, Sarah, Tess and Elin you are going to miss your dad, grandpa, and brother alot.
