I knew Charlotte from attending our youth group at Plaza Bible Church in Orange, Cal. in the 70's. We had fun in our youth group together and when we went to camp together. She was always a fun and nice girl. I'm glad we reconnected through Face Book.

To Larry and Charlotte's family:
It's hard to believe that it's been over 20 years since I first was privileged to know Charlotte and even harder to know that the Lord called her home at such an early age. Beautiful memories remain in our hearts forever until we meet again with loved ones we had to be parted from.
Thinking of you in your great loss and praying that God's love will comfort you through this time of sorrow. Sincerely with deep sympathy.

To Charlotte's Family and Friends
What I find hard is to know the right words, the right verse, memory or inspiration that could even come close to helping or changing anything or easing your hearts even if just a little bit! I can only say that I am still numb and appreciate what you are all going through! I have many wonderful memories of Charlotte and the way she stood behind me in my walk! The sincere genuine love she had with her Lord, family and friends is very inspiring and a true witness of Christ in her! It would seem God would have us meet shopping where she would inspire, advise and show compassion! I never saw her much after moving away and then back to Goderich! I pray for strength, peace and comfort during this difficult journey! Charlotte you've earned those precious wings! You will be missed and have left quite a legacy! Rest in Peace my sister in Christ til we all meet again! Sally and Family

Dear Larry: I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear from Esther about Charlotte’s home going. The sudden occurrence is a timely reminder to us all that life is so brief and we must all be ready. Thankfully, she was ready!
You both were so kind and thoughtful to Marvin and Esther as they started out on their ministerial calling. We were at their home for dinner tonight and they recalled time after time how you both impacted their lives. Esther said how much she loved and appreciated Charlotte’s advice and helpful insights.
Be assured, dear friend, that you and your family will be remembered in prayer in the ensuing days. And thank God for the enduring promise that “ to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord!”
Sincerely, in Christ’s love,
Stewart and Gudrun Hunter

Stacey and I stand with you in the significant loss of a special treasure, Charlotte, who was such a precious gift to so many people. She was an outstanding example of genuine Christian faith, whom the Lord used to influence and inspire so many others. She generously blessed people including her family, her friends, the churches and communities she and Larry served, but perhaps of greatest importance, she generously blessed the Lord.
May each heart be comforted by the unshakable hope we have in Christ who illuminates our darkness, whispers in our silence, heals our broken hearts and conquered death itself!
