David & Betty McKinley and Family posted a condolence
Monday, September 17, 2018
We wish to extend our condolences to all the family connections and friends of dear Winnifred, knowing that for her it is “to be with Christ which is far better” (Phil.1.23).
From we arrived in Canada in May 1981, with our four children, we found Winnie and her husband Willis very welcoming and helpful. We appreciated their evident love of the Lord Jesus Christ and the divine principles revealed in the Holy Scriptures. She was an avid reader of good literature and always careful to return any books that she may have borrowed. They were “given to hospitality” (1Tim3.2) and many gospel preachers could testify to their kindness and liberality. Winnie was an “old school” farm housewife, who loved to can her garden produce and make her jams and jellies from the fruit bushes. Always appreciative of sound doctrine she loved to listen to messages on tape or CD, which kept her mind active into her later years. When we moved to BC in 2011, we missed visiting her, but kept in touch from time to time by phone. She will be missed by all her friends.
With sympathy,
David and Betty McKinley, BC.

Lori and Aunt Winnie. So many visits over the years. I loved going to visit Aunt Winnie and Uncle Willis on the farm. Many memories of staying there in the summer,"helping" with chores, sewing with Aunt Winnie, learning to crochet, and so many more. We will miss her.

To Winn's family I would like to offer my sincere condolences in her passing. She was a lovely lady and I know you will miss her. I volunteer at Goderich Place and I got to know her there and she was so sweet. When she was at Maitland Manor for a short stay I visited her 3 times a week and she was always so greatful with many hugs. She will make a beautiful addition to Gods garden of Angels! Now you can soar free of pain Winn! Enjoy eternity you have earned it! Hugs!
