Obituary of Elvin Wilfred John Parker
PARKER: WILFRED JOHN "ELVIN"
After a long and courageous battle with kidney disease Mr. Wilfred John "Elvin" Parker of Clinton passed away on Wednesday September 19, 2018 at Clinton Public Hospital at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Nancy (Ansell, McCullough). Loving and kind hearted father to Steven & Carrie McCullough of Lucan, and Karen & Kurtis Smith of Ethel. Cherished papa to Kaylee McCullough, Ella, Sheridan, Kayde, and Spencer Smith. Predeceased by his parents Wilfred & Hazel Parker. Elvin touched countless lives and will be sadly missed by many relatives, friends, and colleagues. In his professional life Elvin practiced law in Goderich and was the Area Director of Legal Aid for Huron County for 38 years. He was also a proud member of his community serving as a Trustee for the Clinton United Church. We are so very thankful for the support of the many health professionals who have helped Elvin over the years. Special thanks to Dr. House, Dr. Rehman, Dennis Smith NP, Dr. Hay, Dr. Sumar, Dan Bachert RN, and the wonderful hemodialysis staff of AMGH and University Hospital. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday September 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Clinton United Church 105 Ontario Street, Clinton. In Lieu of Flowers, donations to Clinton United Church, Clinton Public Hospital Foundation, or the Hemodialysis Unit at Alexandra Marine & General Hospital would be appreciated.
