It is with profound sadness that we announce John's passing on September 24, 2018.  John was the loving son of the late Haszard and Mona Patterson.  Cherished brother of Cathy.  John was born in Sydney, NS and remained a lifelong proud Cape Bretoner.  He was an avid golfer, hockey and harness racing fan as well as a voracious reader.  In addition to his many friends and relatives, John will be fondly remembered and missed by his special friends Natalie Elliott and Brianne Sloan, cousins Billy & Nancy Patterson, Diane & Autumn Patterson, Karen Bourgoin and buddies Dave Berry, Roy McCarthy and Bill Simmons.  Cremation has taken place.  Visitation will be held at Falconer Funeral Home, 153 High Street, Clinton at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 with service at 1:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the War Amps would be appreciated.
