Gordon, Jean and Betty and families,
Please accept our sincere condolences. I have fond memories of visiting Bob and Muriel at the farm with my grandparents, Robbie and Lizzie MacLaren. We were warmly welcomed and never left without tea and homebaking quietly and carefully prepared by Muriel.In later years we always looked forward to Muriel's Christmas card, filled with news of the Glen clan. The pride she felt for her family was always evident. We know know she will be missed by all who knew her.

Aunt Muriel was such a kind sole. Whenever we were down Clinton way we would try and stop by, She always would greet us with such warmth and a smile. There would always be sandwiches or cookies waiting. I remember coming by the Farmhouse and she would always have her little kitties running about... never did figure out how many she really had :-) She would write these multi page letters to Dad , telling us about all that she had going on in the family. She would fill the pages (literally) front to back, but they were always an interesting read, she loved the Family, you were her purpose and pleasure. Our deepest sympathies and compassion go out to you - from all of us Wise's in the North.

My earliest memory of Muriel was her walking the cows up the road from the pasture farm to be milked every day. Things we did in the 50s that wouldn't be done now. Such a long and wonderful life she had.

We were very sorry to hear of Aunt Muriel's passing. Our sympathies go out to Jean, Gord and Joanne, Betty and all their families. We have a lot of very fond memories of Aunt Muriel and we had many good times at the farm at RR#5. We ( Murray and I ) especially liked her shortbread cookies and pies. She and our Mom were best sister-in-laws. Her Christmas letters will be missed by everyone here as they were passed around to all. Thinking of you at this time
