So very sorry to hear of Doug's passing. Our deepest sympathy to Helen, Peggy and the family. It was a great shock to us, as we called and the telephone number was no longer in service, and when we talked to his nephew, we got the tragic news. We have known the Bartliffs for many years when we lived in the area, and have enjoyed their companionship on many occasions. He will be sadly missed by a great many in the Clinton area, with fond memories of their great restaurant and bakeshop. May he rest in peace.

my deepest sympathy to the Bartliff family on the passing of Doug. I worked at Bartliff's Bakery back in 1969/1970 as a waitress etc. and so appreciated the kind and generous nature of all the Bartliff's especially Doug, Bruce and Dorothy. I've been back a few times when I'm in the area and fondly remember my time there...good times, good memories thanks to the Bartliff family.
