To all of Charlie's family,
I am so very sorry to learn of Charlie's passing. He has been in my life for as long as I can remember. For years, Charlie and my Mom worked together for Mr. and Mrs. B, and there were lots of wonderful stories of their time there. Then, in more recent years, he became one of my Dad's best friends, with regular visits together, and travelling back and forth to card outings. For myself, Charlie was my rock during the heartbreaking final months of my Dad's life, and I could always count on him for encouragement, a hug and an "I love you too" just when I needed it most. Through my tears now, what gives me comfort is knowing that Dad and Charlie will once again be card partners, and the best guardian angels a girl could ask for. You will always be in my heart, Charlie.

It is with great sadness that we hear of Charlie's passing. Both Connie and worked with Charlie for many years at Bainton's and I must say it was nothing but sheer pleasure.

Charlie will be missed so much be everyone he knew. It will be sad not to have his happy face at the camp opening & closing next year. He certainly created a great camp for A9 and will always be remembered for his help with the Blyth Lions Club as well. We will miss him very much.
