Peacefully at Seaforth Community Hospital on Thursday December 7, 2017 Mr. Charlie Forrest Shaw of Blyth in his 92nd year.  Beloved husband of the late Patricia (McWhirter) Shaw.  Loving father of Brenda McDonald, and Ann & John Nesbit all of Blyth.  Cherished grandfather of Heather & Jack Van Dorp, Michael & Michele McDonald, Cathy & Michael Strickland, Johnny & Krista Nesbit, Michelle & Jeff Nesbitt, and Mark & Erin Nesbit.  Also loved by 16 great grandchildren.  Dear brother of Nora Stephenson of Brussels, and brother in law of George & Bernice McWhirter of Waterloo, Elsie Olson of Edmonton Alberta, Evelyn & George Kerr of Yorktown, Saskatchewan, and Norman George of Carlyle, Saskatchewan.  Also missed by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his sister Fran Bremner.  Friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Homes, 407 Queen St., Blyth, on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  The funeral service will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, 166 Dinsley St., Blyth, on Monday December 11, 2017 at 2 p.m.  Spring Interment Blyth Union Cemetery.  Charlie was an active member of the Blyth Lions Club for over 55 years, and was especially proud of The Charlie Shaw International Youth Camp which he helped to establish.  The Blyth Lions Club will hold a service at the Funeral Home on Sunday evening at 6:45.  As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to The Blyth Lions Club (Park Enhancements).
