Obituary of Jack Roorda

ROORDA: JACK

Jack was born on June 21, 1938 in Tzummarum, Friesland, The Netherlands and passed away peacefully on Saturday February 17, 2018 beside Helen Roorda nee Idsinga, his beloved wife of 57 years.  Loved by his children, Audrey, Renee (Jim), Wayne (Barb), Steven (Carla), and Austin (Kate).  Grandfather to Amanda, Rachel (Dan), Jacob (Kristie), Daren, Isaac, Derek, Calvin, Helena, Tess, and Aaron.  Great grandfather to Lilly, and Ted.  Jack was a skilled decorator who left his mark in many homes and hearts in the community.  Friends will be received at the Clinton Christian Reformed Church, 243 Princess St. E., Clinton on Monday February 19, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday February 20, 2018 at 11 a.m.  Cremation has taken place.  As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to Clinton Public Hosptial Fundation or World Renew would be appreciated.Messages of Condolence for the Roorda Family may be placed at www.falconerfuneralhomes.com
