Dear Family: I convey my sincere sympathy to you in the loss of Don. Our family moved to our home on Albert Street in 1955 across from Ernie and Mary and saw Don there many times. Through the years since his retirement from PUC my sister Gerda and I have met up with Don when we were at Tim Horton's when we talked of past years. He was a fine gentleman and will be remembered fondly by many of his era.
Respectfully, Gerda Abbott and Marg Caldwell

We were very sorry to hear of your Uncle Don's passing. I can recall many pleasant chats with Don over the 40+ years that I knew him. He always had time to talk and was such a mild mannered gentleman. While I haven't seen him in the last few years I still remember seeing him and talking to him during his frequent visits at the Goderich Harbour after his retirement to Goderich. I know you all will miss him very much. May Marguerite and I offer you our deepest sympathy on Don's loss. I know he is happy being reunited with all those he loved and had gone before him. Rest easy Don you were a good man and you have earned your place in Heaven.
