Aunt Pat, Anne and Blair,
We are deeply saddened by Uncle Bud's passing and wish to express our sympathy at this time. We share in your loss. Your family has always been so gracious and loving and we have appreciated the many family gatherings we've had at your home over the years. KC and I are so thankful we were able to visit Uncle Bud on the Saturday before he passed. Please know that we have you in our thoughts and prayers in this difficult time.

Kevin and I would like to send to you Pat, Anne and Blair our deepest sympathies today with the passing of Budd. Unfortunately we were travelling back from the north and were unable to make it up to Goderich to pay our respects, but I wanted to make sure that you knew that we are thinking of all of you at this very sad time. I always enjoyed my visits with Budd at the Murray picnic, he was someone who took an interest in you asking questions about what you were up to at any particular point in your life. Budd genuinely seemed to be invested in what you had to say and actively listened. I hope you are able to gain comfort and strength from those who will surround you today and in the following weeks to come. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I met Bud when I was flight attending for Austin Airways taking Bud in for business at Detour Lake in the early 80s. Years later his sister-in-law Carole would be a favourite neighbor and his nephew Steve ( and Karen) would be dear friends. He was always a friendly face! Condolences to his loved ones.

Through my many travels, Bud & Pat always had an extra bed to sleep on and a ride to & from the airport. Kindness and hospitality were always the order of the day. Bud shared many stories of life in the North and comical situations that he seemed to always encounter. They were probably not so funny at the time but Bud had a way of always looking at life with a positive lens.
I enjoyed the many late nights over a wee dram of scotch and a room filled with laughter.
Pat, Blair and Ann, I wish you strength and courage during this difficult time.

We met Bud when we joined a Bayfield International Croquet Club. We enjoyed his joyful nature and positive spirit. We send our heartfelt sympathy to Pat and the family.
