Obituary of James Mason

At Clinton Public Hospital, on Friday, January 31, 2014 James Joseph Mason of Blyth in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Irma (Bean) Mason. Loving father and father-in-law of Bruce Mason of Blyth, David & Brenda Mason of Clinton, Marlene & Ted Little of Brussels, Beverly & Norman German of Angus, Harvey & Judy Mason of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, Glen Mason of Listowel, Brian Mason of Blyth and Ivan & Kim Mason of Clinton. He will be missed by many grand and great grandchildren. Survived by his sister Katie Buchanan, sister-in-law Nellie Mason and brother-in-law Al Cowie. Predeceased by his parents Walter & Ethel Mason, sister Mae Cowie and brothers Archie, George, Albert and Gordon. A private family funeral service will be held at the Falconer Funeral Home, Blyth Chapel. Spring interment, Blyth Union Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Blyth Branch No. 420, the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation, the Seaforth Community Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
