Sincere sympathy to the family of Doreen Nogalo. I have known Doreen since the mid 50's when she and her mother came to Stanley's Red and White to buy groceries and meat. She often would mention her two sisters who lived at a distance. In later years I have been with the Clinton Hospital auxiliary and have always found her to be very kind and considerate of other people. Doreen has been the image of a lovely lady over the years and she will be remembered by many here in Clinton.

So Sorry to hear about Doreen's passing. I met Doreen through the Clinton Public Hospital Auxiliary. She was a very devoted and conscientious lady in doing all that she could for the Auxiliary even when her health was not always the best. The later years that she spent in the Auxiliary, she would always bring an arrangement of flowers to each meeting. She had taken them from her garden that morning and would share their beauty with us at the meeting. It was something that she would do to help brighten up our day ahead. There was much thought and consideration in all things that she did. I am so glad that I had that opportunity to meet Doreen and share some time with her.

I taught with Doreen at St Joseph School Clinton. She was a dedicated teacher who really enjoyed her work. I always liked how she made a school celebration special with flowers from her gardens. She continued to do volunteer work at the school after she retired. I recall a story when a kindergarten pupil asked her what her job was. Obviously the child did not consider her teaching position as a job since she enjoyed it and seemed so kind like a mother. Doreen always chucked about that. She did teach perfection in her class and this showed in the Christmas concert programs. I know Doreen missed her 2 sisters as they lived so far away. She cherished letters from her USA niece and nephews and kept up to date with their families. I know Doreen is now at peace and has surely earned her way to heaven, My sincere sympathy to Dorothy and Lenore and all their families.

Mrs Nogalo was the Kindergarten teacher at St Patrick’s in Dublin for a pudgy little farm kid in 1976 . ( Me )
One could not have asked for a more thoughtful, kind , considerate teacher.
30 plus years later I can easily recall the warm mannered way in which she taught us little rural bumpkins. Nap times, sand box, climbing bars, sack races. Memories of a much simpler time.
Unfortunate the times we’re in to be unable to share this sentiment in person with her siblings.
My sympathies to her family.
It was an unexpected pleasure to run into her years later, and have her recall your name - siblings.
Rest In Peace Mrs Nogalo
