Obituary of Marion Machan

MACHAN: Marion Passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. Marion June Machan (nee Shantz) of Blyth in her 83rd year. Beloved wife for 62 years of Lloyd Machan. Dear mother and mother- in-law of June and Harry Bakker of Blyth, Cathy Machan of Nile and Scott and Tammy Machan of Genelle, B.C. Predeceased by her son Ken Machan and son-in-law Mike Miller. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Mandy, Danny, Jodi, Aaron, Courtney, Melissa, Tia, Tori and great-grandchildren Gracie, Chancen, Darien, Kiera, Hailey, Emma and Will. Sister and sister-in-law of Nancy and Harvey Thompson, John and Elaine Shantz, Gord and Carol Shantz and Paul Shantz. Predeceased by her brother Jim Shantz and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. At Marion's request, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at Blyth United Church. Interment of ashes in Blyth Union Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated.
