Obituary of Gord Herman

HERMAN: JAMES “GORDON” Peacefully at Seaforth Community Hospital, on Saturday January 2, 2021. Mr. James “Gordon” Herman of Clinton in his 98th year. Beloved husband for 72 years of Jean (Woods) Herman. Loving father of Janice Herman & Martin Herbert of Port Stanley, and Paul & Wendy Herman of Stratford. Cherished grandfather of Chad & Laura Herman, Scott & Trina Herman, Kyle & Elizabeth Herman, and 4 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Phyllis Thompson of Clinton, and brother in law of Gary Woods (Sherry) of Glencoe, and Bill Graham of Windsor. Predeceased by his parents Tom & Mae Herman, sister Helen (Arthur) Aiken, and brother in law Robin Thompson. Gord served in the Royal Canadian Airforce from 1942-1946, was a proud 70 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br #140 Clinton, and proprietor for 51 years of Herman’s Men’s Wear in Clinton. At Gord’s request cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral service. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation, or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Falconer Funeral Homes-Clinton.
