Obituary of Grace Whitaker

Grace Jessie Gertrude Whitaker (nee Handy) December 21, 1938 – February 9, 2021 Grace passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Ritz Lutheran Long Term Care Facility in Mitchell, ON. Grace is pre-deceased by her husband Gerald (1977) and son Steven (2020). She is survived by her sons Richard Whitaker (Dawn), Gerald Whitaker (Carla), her daughters Kelly Lawson, Karen Radske (Jeff), Krista Gomez and sister Marie Bromley. Beloved grandmother of Glendon, Jaime, Shane, Gerard, Tiffany, Tyler, Jessica, Jonathan, Crystal, David, John, Timm, Victoria, Ashleigh, Justine and Frankie. The family would like to give a special thank you to Milton Dale for the love and support he gave to our mother over the years. Thank you to all the staff at Ritz Lutheran for providing exceptional care to our mother during her time there. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held at Falconer Funeral Home in Clinton, Ontario on Saturday, February 13th at 1:00 pm. Internment will be scheduled for a later date at Clinton Cemetery. The family is asking for donations of sympathy/memorial donations to be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
