Obituary of John Wain

WAIN: John Thomas August 11, 1951 - February 11, 2021 On Thursday, February 11, 2021 John Wain passed away peacefully at his home in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Dianne for 46 years. Loving father of Tracy, John (Ashley) and Vicki. Proud grandfather of Patti Fielder, Kaz Budny, Ava Schell, Aiden Schell and Artemus Wain. Also survived by sisters Cynthia Kolkman (Bill), Rose Hayes (late Jack) and Sarah Cox (Jeff). Predeceased by his parents Sam and Phyllis Wain, a sister Mary and a brother Fred. Remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families. John was born in England before coming to Canada with his family at the age of 9 months. He was raised at Taylor's Corners where he spent his growing up years, pulling many a stranded motorist out of the ditches there. John always had a smile and a joke about something. He loved playing with his tractors and taking the grandboys for rides around the village. A private family funeral service will be held at Falconer Funeral Homes – Bluewater Chapel, Goderich on Monday, February 15, 2021.
