Obituary of Ray Barnes
BARNES: NORMAN “RAY”
Norman “Ray” Barnes passed away at Huronview Home for the Aged, Clinton on Friday February 26, 2021.
A special thanks to all the staff at Huronview. Their kindness and compassion knows no bounds.
Ray is predeceased by his wife Jean and is survived by his daughter Cheryl, son Dennis, and brother Jim Barnes.
As a retired member of the Canadian Forces he never lost his love for airplanes and was a regular at the Goderich Airport. It was his second home although Jean would tell you, with a grin, that it was his FIRST HOME!
Traveling in RV’S was a passion and they were never happier than going on the road together.
He was a good, kind man, laughing and enjoying a cold beer once and a while. Stubborn at times (aren’t we all) but always there for family and friends no questions asked.
Ray is now soaring the skies with his beloved airplanes, happy and healthy with his wife Jean.
Gonna miss him.
