Geoff loved computers from the days of Univac and monster IBMs which lead him to a lifelong career in the industry as Manager of Programming and Systems Analysis in the financial sector. He enjoyed spending time with his family and tinkering in his garage – especially working on his pride and joy his l970 MG convertible. Geoff loved to fix things and was always ready to help friends and family in any emergency. Geoff enjoyed playing his 12 string or banjo, getting together with friends and family, preferably around the campfire at Lake Labelle and participating in the annual Dallin/Hern dart championship. The circle grows smaller as Geoff joins lifelong friend Don, jamming it up upstairs. Missed by lifelong friends, Pete, Jean, Linda, Bob, Bill, Terry, Ross, Phil and Ian who have always kept in touch and were around to remember the days of “Great Granny Wore Tights”. According to Geoff’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date when all can safely gather to celebrate Geoff’s optimistic vision of life.
