Penny and family, so sorry for your loss!
Jim was my family dentist from the time I was a little girl. I can hear his voice telling Ms. Driver his assistant what he was about to do next as I sat in the dentist chair. My mom Fanny was so very fond of Jim. He will be asking her what her lunch special is today in heaven. Jo-Anne Homan

Our friendship with Jim and the Peters family goes back many years to minor hockey days and a time when the Red Wings could play hockey. Golfing, music, and church were other areas where our paths crossed and we will miss him.
Our sincere condolences to you, Penny, and all of your wonderful family.

Dear Aunt Penny, Gary, Sue Cameron Eric, Thomas, Bill, Tracy, Kaity, Troy, John, Angela, Corinne, Alannah, Jenn, Gord, Aubrey and Caleb: So very sad to hear of Uncle Jim's passing. Goderich times were always fun times. Here is a picture of my earliest memory of Jim/ your Dad, at 85 Pennywell Rd. in 1957 when he was still "Uncle Jimmy". Even then he was so laid back with no jacket and tie:) Sincere sympathy and love to all. Ruth and Graham

Our condolences to the Peters' family. We knew Jim from church & also as our family dentist until his retirement. He had a great sense of humour & loved to discuss local politics & events -- often they were one-sided discussions if he was working on your mouth & you couldn't reply!
We hope that many happy memories will comfort you & give you strength.
God Bless,
The Walters family

Laura and I send you our condolences. Jim was a dedicated amateur musician who worked hard to fulfill his musical responsibilities as the sole baritone saxophone player in the Laketown Band. His enthusiasm for Goderich and its people was always evident. When we moved to town Jim was eager with his recommendation to live near them - the perfect location, right between the high school and the hockey arena! Al Mullin

Beside Jim being our family Dentist, I was with him in both Kinsmen and Rotary.
Jim had that down East way about him and had a great sense of humour that he liked to bestow on all who would listen.
He will be missed in the community and by his family very much
