The photo you chose of Sue is so fitting. That beautiful smile always evident. She and I worked evenings many times together. She efficiently handling the switchboard when some evenings were filled with one crisis after another. We also would attend the same 6AM aerobics at the East Street gym. I can hear her voice saying good morning and asking about my family. My heart is very saddened at your loss, she was one of a kind. Jo-Anne Homan

Dear Arbour Family,
So sad to hear of Aunt Susan's passing. She was a special woman and lived for her family. She always talked about her boys and all her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she was so proud of all of you. The last time I visited her with my sister Deb and Ky, she had recently lost Babe. She maintained her welcoming and cheerful personality and always let us know she was so pleased to have a visitor. Her garden was a picture and her home was always neat as a pin.I know you will all miss her so much.
And when someone at my side says, "Oh she's gone." The others are there, eyes watching for her coming. And other voices to take up the glad shout of "Here she comes!"

I have a lovely memory of Aunt Susan picking red currants in my back yard and a few days later receiving a delicious jar of her homemade jam. I also have a beautiful Hosta in my flower bed from her garden. Kim, Lee, Steve and families you have our sympathy on the loss of your loving & generous Mom. Love & prayers from Carol & Glenn Gascho

Kim, Lee, Steve and your families, we are sending you our deepest sympathies.
Susan was one special lady. To us she was our much loved Granny Sue. We will cherish our memories of our time spent with her. She was a great cook and we have many great recipes she shared including the family favourite “snowballs”. She was also a beautiful knitter; my grandchildren have worn the sweaters and hats she knit originally for Mike and Meg that I had saved.
Susan was always so welcoming to anyone who dropped by. She loved animals and our Buffy was no exception, loving her as much as we did . She was always up for an adventure and we had many a day trip together.
I will always think of her when I see a magnolia tree.
We are so thankful we got to see her in person in September and even shared a hug.
The world has lost a little bit of sparkle.
Chris and Don MacPhee
