Obituary of Elaine Dallin

Peacefully, surrounded by family at home on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 Elaine (Stransom) Dallin of Fernhurst Glen in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Nelson Dallin (1991) and the late Ginger Hern (2011). Loving mother of Geoffrey & Doreen Dallin of Clinton and Rev. Paula Taylor-Morgan & Rev. Chris Morgan of Fernhurst Glen. Grandmother of Heather (Andrew) Murray and great grandmother of Liam and Paige Murray all of Freelton. Remembered by her step daughter Erica (Thompson) Asselin and their children Peter and Jodi Asselin all of Calgary. Dear sister of John & Dorothy Stransom of Bristol. Missed by her nieces and Nephews Peter (Elaine) Stransom, Susan (David) Duncan all of England, Ken (Ruth) Dallin of Orono as well as many great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Jack & May Stransom, brother in law George (Esme) Dallin, stepson Peter Smallman and dear friend Mollie Hern. At Elaine's request cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
