Peacefully, with her family by her side at Clinton Public Hospital on Monday, April 15, 2013. Marjorie Harriet Stirling (nee Rathwell) of Clinton in her 96th year. Wife of the late Robert (Bob) Stirling (2003). Dear mother and mother-in-law of Wayne and Donna Stirling of Exeter, Bonnie and Jim Hancock of Lindsay and Dale Stirling of Clinton. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Kevin (Judy), Keith (Ayan) and Kim (Bryan) and great-grandchildren Owen, Ava and Madison. Sister and sister-in-law of Edgar (late Helen) Rathwell, Tom and Willa Rathwell, Arnold (late Verna) Rathwell, Anna Stirling (late Grant) and Mary Stirling (late Jack). Predeceased by brothers and sisters and brothers and sisters-in-law, Muriel (John) Grigg, Dorothy (John) Ostrom, Gordon (Helen) Rathwell, Darcy (Madeline) Rathwell, Eleanor (Bill) McAsh, Robert (Mary) Rathwell, Randall Stirling, Frieda (Lou) Bailey, Fraser (Violet) Stirling, Grace (Ted) Harrison, Ethel, Keith and Douglas Stirling. A memorial service will be held at Falconer Funeral Homes - Clinton Chapel, 153 High Street, Clinton on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service time. Interment of cremated remains in Bayfield Cemetery later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate memorial donations to Varna United Church or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
