Obituary of George Hubbard

At Stratford General Hospital on Thursday, May 22, 2014 George Leroy Hubbard of Blyth in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the late Marion (Fulton) Hubbard (1990) and predeceased by two sons Steven (1963) and James (1996). Loving father of Cathy & Murray McNichol of RR#4 Walton, Susan and Kevin Warwick of Blyth, Selina & Bruce Treble of RR#4 Goderich and Philip & Karin Hubbard of Blyth. Cherished grandfather of Jolanda, Kristin, James, Sandra, Steven, Nathan, Chantal, Kyle, Dustin, Cody, Chad, Natasha, Jordan, Samantha, Shyanne and great grandfather of Jaedyn, Peyton, Brady, Kaiden, Carmen, Lexus, Ty, Wyatt, Clay, Benjamin, Scott and Lukas. Also greatly missed by several nieces and nephews. Brother of Mary Ann & Don Holtby of St. Catherines, Keith & Penny Hubbard of Bright, Ronald & Charlotte Hubbard of Stratford and brother in law of Jerry & Leona Fulton, Joyce Ferguson, Gail Fulton, Garry & Mary Fulton, Muriel & Don Pettigrew, Peg Klemp, Chris Fulton, Joan Fulton and Margie Fulton. Predeceased by his parents Roy & Florence Hubbard and several brothers and sister in laws. Visitation will be held at the Falconer Funeral Homes-Blyth Chapel 407 Queen St. Blyth on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Blyth United Church on Monday, May 26, 2014 at 2 p.m. Reverend Gary Clark officiating. Interment Blyth Union Cemetery.
