Obituary of Donald Buchanan

At Seaforth Community Hospital, on Saturday October 6, 2012 Mr. Donald Robert Buchanan of Londesborough in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Alice Buchanan. Loving father of Mary & Ken Mitchell of Toronto, Nancy Tardella of Woodbridge, Donna Dempsey of Oshawa, Jim & Heather Buchanan of Bowmanville, and Garry Buchanan of Londesborough. Cherished grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Also survived by his sister Joyce. Predeceased by sons Ronald & Paul Buchanan, brothers Wilfred, Ken, Gordon, and Fred Buchanan, and by son in law Frank Tardella. Friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Homes 153 High St., Clinton, on Friday from 6-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Londesborough United Church, Londesborough, on Saturday October 13, 2012 at 11 a.m. Cremation with interment of ashes at Maitland Bank Cemetery, Seaforth. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Seaforth Community Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
