Obituary of Martie Lobb

Martje "Martie" (Koopmans) Lobb of Goderich and formerly of Holmesville passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at Clinton Public Hospital, on Tuesday November 6, 2012, in her 67th year. Martie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Hugh Lobb (1987). She was the loving mother of Greg Lobb and Meighan Wark of Bayfield, Shari and Rick Howson of Blyth, and Nancy and John MacDonald of Toronto, and the proud and doting grandmother of Hugh and Hannah Lobb, Elizabeth and William Howson, and Alex and Sebastian MacDonald. Martie was the cherished sister of Margje (Austin) Fults, Klaske (Brian 2008) Werth, John (Alice) Koopmans, and Andrew (Barb) Koopmans. Sister-in-law to Don (Lillie Ann) Lobb, Alison Lobb, Bruce (Diane) Lobb, Murray (Roba 2009) Lobb, Jeanette (Irvin) Martin, and Gordon (Paula) Lobb. She was a wonderful aunt and great-aunt to the Koopmans and Lobb families. She was predeceased by her parents, Rieuwert and Jantje Koopmans, and her parents-in-law Mervyn and Jean Lobb. Visitation will be held at Falconer Funeral Home - Clinton Chapel, 153 High St. Clinton on Friday, November 9th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 10th at 1 pm at North Street United Church, Goderich. Interment, Clinton Cemetery.
