Obituary of Alfred Mathers

Peacefully at Bluewater Rest Home, Zurich on Friday November 30, 2012 Mr. Alfred Mathers of Clinton in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Marion (Dales) Mathers. Loving father of Lynda & Lloyd Rees of Ailsa Craig, Gord & Bonnie Mathers of Clinton, Marilyn & Rick Tyndall of Clinton, and by extended family Margaret Broome & Joe Heffron of Blyth, John & Deb Merritt of Forest, Joanne & Doug Stewart of Toronto, Judy Stephenson of Bayfield, Janice & Ted Dewar of Point Clark, David Stephenson of Bayfield, and Paul & Ann Stephenson of B.C., Also loved and sadly missed by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predceased by his sister Helen Forsythe, and his brother Lorne Mathers. At Alfred's request there will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held at the Clinton Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at One Care (Betty Cardno Centre) 317 Huron St., Clinton on Saturday December 8, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Lions Club, Clinton Public Hospital Foundation, Clinton United Church, or the charity of one's choice would be greatly appreciated.
