Obituary of Govardus Brand

Peacefully at Seaforth Manor, on Tuesday December 4, 2012 Mr. Govardus "Goff" Brand formerly of Clinton in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Bernadine "Dini" (Nyland) Brand. Dear brother of Cornelius "Kees" Brand of Clinton, Sister Maria Brand of Pembroke, Bill & Toni Brand of Hensall, John & Margaret Brand of Bayfield, Martin Brand of Wellesley, Adrianus "Adrian" Brand of RR #3 Clinton, Gilbert & Anne Brand of RR #2 Bayfield, Paul & Mary Brand of Newmarket, and Corrie Kehoe of Oshawa. Also loved and missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Jacobus "Jack" Brand. Friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Homes 153 High St., Clinton, on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, 156 North Street, Goderich, on Saturday December 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment Clinton Cemetery. Parish Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening at 6:45p.m. Reverend Father Gary Ducharme will officiate.
